Stages
May 3-4, 2024

Categories:

• 8/11 years – Kids
• 12/14 years – Juniors
• 15 years and above – Seniors

 

Registration and Rules:

1. All participants must register online through the registration form on the website www.interdanza.it, no later than April 26, 2024.
2. The classes will take place in person in Livorno: May 3 - at the Dea Dance School (via dei Cavalieri 69); and May 4 - at the Dance and Movement Laboratory (via di Popogna 50).
3. Disciplines: Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance, Character Dance, Pas de Deux, History of Dance.
4. A participation certificate will be issued at the end of the stages.
5. The stages will have a limited number of participants.
6. Participants are responsible for providing their own medical and accident insurance for the duration of the stages.
7. The organization may change the event's logistics, if necessary, to ensure the smooth running of activities.
8. By signing the registration form, the participant or guardian (in the case of a minor) declares that Interdanza (Arts4all as the organizer) is relieved of any responsibility for thefts, damages to property, or injuries caused or suffered during the event.
9. Interdanza reserves the right not to hold the stages due to force majeure; in such a case, a voucher equal to 70% of the paid amount will be issued, valid for the next edition.
10. If a student decides not to participate, the paid fee will not be refunded.
11. Travel, meals, and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the participant—calendar: May 3 and 4. The class schedule will be communicated shortly!

INTERNATIONAL DANCE GALA

"ON THE WINGS OF DANCE - FOUR STEPS THROUGH STYLES"

Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 5:30 PM 

Teatro Goldoni (Livorno)

International dance gala with special guests.

Registration and Rules:

1. All participants must register online through the registration form on the website www.interdanza.it, no later than April 5, 2024. The organization reserves the right to close registrations before the set deadline, reaching the available number of spots.
2. Participants can present choreographies as soloists, duo/pas de deux, or groups.
3. The Gala will take place on May 5, 2024, at Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, at 5:30 PM.
4. Rehearsals will take place on May 5, 2024, in the hours before the show. The rehearsal schedule will be communicated promptly.
5. ATTENTION! The maximum duration for groups is 4 minutes, for pas de deux/duos it's 3 minutes, and for soloists, it's 2 minutes. The original duration is allowed for classical repertoire pas de deux. The maximum time allotted to each school is ten minutes in total.
6. The teacher is responsible for their group throughout the event.
7. Participants are responsible for providing their own medical and accident insurance for the duration of their stay at Teatro Goldoni.
8. The organization may change the event's logistics if necessary to ensure its smooth running.
9. By signing the registration form, the participant or guardian (in the case of a minor) declares that Interdanza (Arts4all as the organizer) is relieved of any responsibility for thefts, damages to property, or injuries caused or suffered during the event.
10. Professional staff selected by the organization will handle video recording and photographs (audience members are not allowed to record videos or take photographs to respect privacy laws protecting minors), and authorization for the use of personal data under Article 13 of the new privacy code REGULATION EU 679/2016. Each school can purchase the video and photos at their discretion.
11. Interdanza reserves the right not to hold the Gala due to force majeure; in such a case, a voucher equal to 70% of the paid amount will be issued, valid for the next edition.
12. If a group, duo, or individual participant decides not to participate, the registration fee will not be refunded.
13. Travel, meals, and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the participant.

• Solo: 35 euros
• Pas de deux - classical repertoire: 30 euros per dancer (referring to the complete version: adagio, variations, and coda)
• Duo: 20 euros per dancer
• Groups (+ 3 dancers): 15 euros per dancer

INTERDANZA ONLINE
May 15-19 Interdanza 

Dance Contest "CON - CORRIAMO" - Online

Rules

ART. 1 - REGISTRATION

1. To participate in the Interdanza Contest "CON - CORRIAMO" all participants must register online through the registration form on the website www.interdanza.it and submit their video no later than May 5, 2024.
2. Each video will be posted on the official INTERDANZA Facebook page (undefined). Public voting will be open from 8:00 AM on May 15, 2024, until 8:00 PM on May 18, 2024.
3. Sharing is allowed with the hashtag #Interdanza2024.
4. The announcement of the winners will be made at 1:00 PM on May 19, 2024, on the official Facebook page and the INTERDANZA website. 

ART. 2 - PARTICIPATION FEES 

Participation fees for the Interdanza Dance Contest "CON - CORRIAMO":

• Solo: 30 euros per video
• Pas de deux / Duet: 20 euros per participant per video
• Groups (+3 dancers): 15 euros per participant per video
  
  

Each participant can perform multiple times by submitting multiple videos (solo, pas de deux/duet, group).
Payments can be made directly online via Credit Card. 

ART. 3 - VIDEO PRODUCTION

• Contestants must present a video of a choreography performed at a chosen location in 2023 or 2024. The performances should highlight creativity in choreographic composition and the performers' abilities. The video must be of good quality and recorded in horizontal format, not vertical. Logos of schools and companies are allowed in the videos.
• Duration: The video must have a maximum duration of:
  2.00 minutes for soloists,
  2.30 minutes for duos, for classical repertoire pas de deux (only the adagio), the original duration is allowed,
  3.30 minutes for groups. 

ART. 4 JURY
The jury is composed of teachers and masters from the international dance scene. The ranking will be determined by the sum of scores assigned by the jury members. The judging parameters implemented by the jury members will be:

• Technical Judgment (level and technical quality)
• Artistic Judgment (expressiveness, interpretative ability, musicality)
• Ideation Judgment (original idea, creativity) The decisions of the Jury are final and indisputable. The committee reserves the right, if necessary, to change the category of the participating group/duo or soloist or to create new categories to place them in the most suitable section.

ART. 5 Disciplines/Sections/Categories:

Sections:

• Soloists
• Pas de deux/duo
• Groups 

Categories for the soloist section are:

• KIDS: 8 - 11 years
• JUNIORS: 12 - 15 years
• SENIORS: 16 years and above 

Categories for pas de deux/duo and groups are:

• JUNIORS: 8 - 12 years
• SENIORS: 13 years and above 

For GROUPS and DUO: In each category, the average age of the participants will be calculated. 

In case of insufficient minimum participants in one of the Categories of the event, the organizers reserve the right to combine or eliminate one or more categories of this edition. 

INTERDANZA does not assume responsibility for any refund if there is only one choreography competing in its category. INTERDANZA reserves the right to add more days for video publication.

ART. 6 Prizes/Scholarships:

1. Each dancer will receive a Certificate of Participation for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
2. Winners will be awarded national and international scholarships, which they can use for activities in the 2024/2025 academic year.
3. INTERDANZA will award an additional scholarship based on the social ranking. This will be derived from the total number of likes each video receives. Likes on posts shared on personal pages will not be counted, only those given to the original post.

ART. 7 
By signing this regulation, the Legal Representative of the Dance Association/School and/or the Parent fully and unconditionally accepts the following points:

1. If, for organizational reasons, the event date should change or the event itself is canceled, the variation will be communicated with advance notice on the established date.
2. If the competition cannot take place due to force majeure, a voucher equal to 70% of the paid amount will be issued, valid for the next edition.
3. In the event of the school's non-participation by its own decision, the registration fee cannot be refunded.
4. The participant also declares that:
   • The author is the exclusive owner of all copyright relating to the video.
   • The presented video is an original product and does not constitute plagiarism and/or counterfeiting of pre-existing works.
   • The video's content does not violate current laws or the rights of third parties and is not defamatory, offensive, or insulting.
   • They are aware that the use of the video will be at the exclusive discretion of Interdanza.

ART. 8

1. All decisions are at the discretion of the organizers for matters not covered by this regulation.
2. The organizers reserve the right to make changes to it at any time, informing participants promptly.

Deadlines:

• May 5, 2024: Registration and payment closure.
• May 15-18, 2024: Popular voting for "CON - LET'S RUN" videos.
• May 19, 2024: Declaration of winners and scholarship awards.

ONLINE STAGES

May 18-19, 2024

The stages will be divided by age group:

• From 8 to 11 years: Juniors
• From 12 years and above: Seniors 

Disciplines:

• Classical Dance
• Contemporary Dance

 

Registration and Rules:

1. All participants must register online through the registration form on the website www.interdanza.it, no later than May 5, 2024.
2. Classes will take place on the Zoom platform.
3. A link will be sent via email to each participant in the days before the first lesson.
4. The organization reserves the right to combine groups if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
5. In case of non-participation by the participant's decision, the registration fee cannot be refunded.
6. INTERDANZA reserves the right not to hold the stages due to force majeure; in such a case, a voucher equal to 70% of the paid amount will be issued, valid for the next edition.
7. The times refer to the Italian Time Zone.
8. The stages will be held in the Italian language. In the case of foreign students, the lesson will be translated into English.
9. At the end of the stage, a certificate of participation will be issued.

1. Single-stage lesson: 15 euros

During Interdanza events, national and international scholarships will be awarded for activities in the 2024/2025 academic year.
Promoting scholarships for emerging dance talents is a step towards a more inclusive stage, where merit translates into opportunities, and passion dances to the rhythm of education.
